With both parents as award winning Garden Photographers and having spent her childhood visiting world renowned gardens, it was inevitable that Lucy would inherit a passion for beautiful gardens. After gaining a BA (Hons) at Exeter University, Lucy forged a successful career as a specialist garden photographer. With an intuitive understanding of composure, colour and light and her photography work with high profile garden designers, Lucy soon realised her ultimate ambition was to design and create inspired gardens.

Having trained with the British Academy of Garden Design and with a true understanding of gardens, Lucy specialises in designing gardens that not only fulfil the aspirations of her clients but also have a sense of harmony and belonging to the surroundings. Inspired by natural beauty and having an instinctive eye for detail, Lucy enjoys working closely with every client to create gardens that are unique and personal to them, their lifestyle and their home.

Alex’s career in manual labour began at the age of 16 helping out at a fencing company during the holidays and weekends. After leaving school, Alex continued his fencing work until, at the age of 22, he set up his own company and found himself diversifying and being able to offer a range of work that included large landscaping and building projects.

Alex has now built up a successful, highly skilled team of landscapers and a reputation for completing projects to the highest of standards. With a can-do attitude and approachable manner, Alex works closely with Lucy and our clients during the design concept, planning and integration phases, ensuring that design implementation, scheduling and build are aligned and efficient throughout the project.

Alex and his team take great pride in bringing the designs from concept to reality and creating outdoor spaces that surpass the aspirations and expectations of each individual client.

Sian’s mother studied garden design and has always kept beautiful imaginative gardens at home but Sian’s true appreciation of gardening has developed over the last decade. The birth of her children and inevitable change of pace brought with it a chance to indulge in a hobby that went on to flourish and become a great passion.

Sian studied with the RHS and divides her time between McNulty & Stonebridge projects and working in a beautiful private garden on a country estate. Sian’s expertise come to the fore during the planting plan and implementation stage, working with Lucy to select the plants most suited to each particular project and ensure all preparations for planting and the planting process itself runs smoothly; providing the plants with the very best start in their new home.

With her hands on experience and RHS training, Sian relishes the opportunity to monitor and maintain projects following completion, giving knowledgeable advice on the ongoing care of the plants and garden.

Above all, Sian loves to see the joy that gardens bring into people’s lives and if dinner is late it’s because mummy’s in the greenhouse!
